Toronto, April 2, 2009 - Retirement Compensation Funding Inc (RcF) announces that Roy W. Craik, Founder and President, having reached retirement age, will assume the role of Chairman and Executive Partner of the Management Committee at the end of the transition period March 30, 2010. At that time, Roys long-time Partner and Senior Vice President, Carl Rosen, will become Vice-Chairman and Counsel.
RcF is also pleased to announce that Pierre Ghorbanian, Nellie Kwok, and Mike McGraw have been made Partners.
Pierre has a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) in Marketing from the University of Guelph and holds his CFP designation. He has worked closely with Roy for the past 7 years. He is currently the Senior Case Consultant and, in addition will take on the responsibilities of Managing Partner.
Nellie has a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) in Finance from the University of Toronto. She is currently responsible for Distribution and will now also be responsible for Operations.
Mike has a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) degree from the University of New Brunswick in Economics & Marketing, and holds his CFP, CLU, and ChFC designations. He is responsible for all of the Atlantic Provinces from RcFs Saint John, NB office. He is also RcFs liaison for the Independent Financial Advisors associated with IDC Financial (Atlantic) Inc.
Futher appointments will be announced as the transition and succession plans proceed.
RcF specializes in supplemental pension funding, is a full service Retirement Compensation Arrangement (RCA) provider and, provides design and funding platforms for Supplemental Executive/Employee Retirement Plans (SERPs). RcF also provides third-party RCA services for major financial institutions and independent financial advisors through the MGA Distribution Channel.
RcFs two funding platforms PENSIONPlus and PENSIONPlus GIF provide secured funding for an RRSPWrap, MPPPWrap, or IPPWrap using the RCA provisions in the Income Tax Act. The RCA is wrapped around the registered pension plan to provide the total required entitlement under CRA guidelines. All RCA Trust services are provided by BMO Trust Company at significantly reduced trustee fees exclusive to RcF.
